Weather causing havoc for Snowboard Cross

By Ina Fried

There's some debate right now whether there will be one or two qualification runs in the Women's Snowboard Cross because of weather conditions. The event has been delayed twice already because of fog and rain on Cypress Mountain.

That's good news for Lindsey Jacobellis, who had a clean first run and stands near the top of the charts.

A jury is set to meet after the first run.

Jacobellis, of course, has all eyes on her after her premature celebration four years ago cost her the gold.

Update (4:15 p.m.): It looks like they will have a second run in the Snowboard Cross at Cypress, which gives new life for two Canadians that had been on the outside looking in, as only 16 of the 24 advance to the next round.
